1. Linear Gear Progression Explained:
In Throne and Liberty, gear progression is linear. This means any upgrades you make on weapons or armor are permanent, and none of your hard-earned experience or resources go to waste. You can later transfer all experience and upgrades from one piece of gear to another, ensuring that even if you find better gear later, nothing you've earned is lost.

2. Using Growth Stones to Upgrade Gear:
Growth Stones are the key resource needed to upgrade your gear in Throne and Liberty. There are different types of Growth Stones—green, blue, and purple—depending on the rarity of the item you're upgrading.

Each upgrade attempt (referred to as a "tap") will require a certain number of Growth Stones and a set amount of gold. For example, upgrading a purple weapon might cost eight Growth Stones and 74,000 gold for one tap. As the level of the item increases, so does the number of Growth Stones and gold required for further upgrades.

For instance, going from level 8 to level 9 may require nine Growth Stones and over 100,000 gold per attempt. Always ensure you have enough resources before you start upgrading, as running out halfway can delay your progression.

3. Max Level Gear:
The maximum level for any piece of gear, whether it's weapons, armor, or accessories, is +9. Once you've maxed out your purple gear to +9, this is as high as you can go for now in Throne and Liberty.

However, if you acquire new and better gear later, the game allows you to transfer all experience and upgrades from your old gear to the new one. This system ensures that none of your progression is wasted, so you don't have to worry about starting from scratch with new equipment.

4. Crafting & Upgrading Materials:
Beyond just Growth Stones, Throne and Liberty also has a crafting system that uses various materials to create or upgrade gear. An important feature of the game is the ability to convert lower-tier materials (like green or blue) into higher-tier materials (like purple). For example, 15 blue materials can be converted into a single purple material.

Conversely, if you need lower-tier materials, you can dissolve purple items into multiple blue ones. This up-and-down conversion system ensures that all materials you collect have value. Always save everything you get—whether it's leather, metals, or parchments—as they can be upgraded or dissolved to meet your needs later.

5. Key Tip: Never Dissolve Gear Early On:
When it comes to your gear, always avoid dissolving items too early. Every piece of gear, regardless of rarity, can be upgraded and used in the future. Instead of dissolving them for materials, consider storing them until you have enough resources to convert them into higher-rarity gear or use them for crafting essential items.

6. Gear Strategy for New Players:
One of the biggest mistakes new players make is focusing on immediate gear upgrades without considering their long-term goals. It's tempting to upgrade to purple gear early, but unless you have the resources (Growth Stones and gold) to fully upgrade and unlock traits, it's often better to stick with fully upgraded blue gear, as it can sometimes outperform poorly upgraded purple gear.

7. Daily and Weekly Content Management:
A common pitfall for new players is focusing only on one aspect of the game, like dungeons. While dungeons can offer great rewards, Throne and Liberty has a diverse set of activities that contribute to gear progression, including open-world bosses, dynamic events, and crafting. Make sure you balance your daily and weekly routine to avoid burnout and to ensure you're maximizing your progression across the board.

In Throne and Liberty, understanding the gear progression system is crucial to your success. Always manage your Growth Stones and gold carefully, save all gear and materials, and upgrade strategically. Don't rush to purple gear without the proper resources to maximize it. Stick to a balanced routine of dungeons, dynamic events, and crafting to make sure you're progressing efficiently.
